Ever wondered what the basic range of colours looked like for the 912 customer, look no further.Remember though you could order your car in any colour you fancied. Chartreuse anyone? Oh and please please don't get your bodyshop to match these web colours!
Colour Tag
This aluminium plate tells you the original paint code.
The number will correspond with the factory order, there are many many Porsche colours and only a few are shown here. As 912's were often ordered in bulk as a stock item by dealers, the colour choice was usually one of the best sellers, from this selection.
You should find this tag on the front edge of the door frame below the hinge.
